In 2024, we decided to support several amazing charitable projects that help those in greatest need.
At Sattelo, we believe that we should use our resources to contribute to a better world. Helping where it’s needed is not only a moral responsibility but also a core part of our company philosophy. This year, we focused on projects that have a real impact on the lives of those facing hardships.
We hope this post inspires others to get involved in helping, whether through financial support, volunteering, or other ways. Every little bit counts, and together we can make the world a better place.

Here are five charities we have decided to support:
Help for Uganda
Our help in Uganda started in 2001 when we expanded the Sponsor a Child program. We support education, healthcare, and local development. In Buikwe, we built a hospital that treats over 20,000 patients annually. Our assistance is directed to five Ugandan dioceses, where we collaborate with local organizations and regularly monitor their activities.

Help for Rory
I want to introduce you to the story of Rory, a little fighter who battles cerebral palsy and quadriplegia every day. We are living in an unsuitable house, so we are working to raise funds for his accessible forever home in Galway. Rory dreams of a house with a hoist system, a rehabilitation room, a “gaming room,” and space to have fun with his friends. This house will improve his physical and emotional life and give him the freedom he deserves. Rory can’t wait for it!

Social vehicle
Since 1997, our company has been renewing vehicle fleets in institutions for people with disabilities. With business support, we’ve delivered 1,021 “social vehicles.” More are needed due to the poor condition of existing ones. Companies can advertise on vehicles and gain regional visibility. The project is supported by the media and local authorities.

Help Margita in the fight against cancer
After exhausting all treatment options in the Czech Republic, we have found hope in clinics in Brno, Austria, and Switzerland, which offer integrative cancer treatments (e.g., cell immunotherapy, ozone therapy, INUSpherese). The total cost of treatment, including travel and accommodation, is estimated at 155,000 EUR. Even the smallest contribution can give my aunt a chance at life. If we raise more money than needed, it will be donated to help others. Thank you for any contribution.
Rehabilitation for Eliáš
Eliáš suffers from a rare disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which weakens the muscles. In August 2023, he underwent the Zolgensma gene therapy. To prevent his condition from worsening, he needs regular rehabilitation, which is financially demanding. The insurance covers spa treatment only twice a year, but Eliáš needs it four times. Therefore, his parents have asked Konto Bariéry for help with the costs of rehabilitation.
